Recently I went to Jeju Island and Seoul Korea. I went as a parent chaperone. The MCHS jazz choir was invited by the Korean government to perform at their annual Fire Festival. My daughter is one of the 11 members of the jazz choir. There were over 40.000 people attending the festival. Jeju is a sister city to Santa Rosa. We had a great time, learned a lot,and met some wonderful people.I I even learned some Korean line dancing! We were all happy to be home and eat food we were used to. » read more...

On Oct. 30th, 2009, Ms. Kearney and Mr. Boarman's class went to Pt. Reyes National Park. We took a guided tour through a Miwok Indian Village, walked the earthquake trail and visted the Bear Valley Visitors Center. We all rode on a yellow school bus.
